LaKeisha Randle Koontz joins HSES as our Theater teacher. She previously taught in FBISD, Spring ISD and worked at several theatres in the Houston area. LaKeisha earned her Master’s degree from the University of Houston in Arts Leadership and her Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M in Theatre and Education. She is inspired to guide children through the artistic process and is excited to witness them find their voice through art. LaKeisha shares, “My passion and purpose is in the creative arts, from being on stage, acting or directing, to organizing worship arts ministry happenings to cooking and curating community events at our family owned restaurant, creativity is at the core of it all.” And she wants to remind everyone in the HSES community, “Come support the Theatre! We are going to have a blast this year!”
