Jessica Moreno comes to HSES as a 1st grade teacher. She previously taught in various private schools that specialized in supporting students with learning differences. Jessica says, “I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of grade levels—from kindergarten through fifth grade—which has given me a deep understanding of how children grow and learn in different stages.” She earned her degree from the University of Houston and in her free time enjoys spending time with her family, visiting the beach, crafting classroom decor, baking, and exploring local coffee shops. “I was inspired to become a teacher by the incredible impact teachers had on my own life. I knew I wanted to create a safe, loving, and engaging environment where students could grow academically and emotionally,” Jessica shares. “I love watching the ‘light bulb’ moments—when something finally clicks and a child’s face lights up with pride. Their curiosity, honesty, and joy make every day exciting and meaningful.”
