Erica Dunagan comes to HSES as a Kindergarten teacher. She previously taught Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades at The Village School for the last 8 years. Erica earned her Bachelor degree in Elementary Education from Iowa State University. Erica is half Norwegian, and half American and she was born in Stavanger, Norway where she lived for 4 years. She grew up going to International Schools in both Norway and Scotland! In her free time, Erica enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, relaxing days at the lake, trying new restaurants. She says, “I love working with children, especially at the kindergarten level! Seeing the joy they find in small accomplishments, whether it's writing their name for the first time, sharing with a friend, or discovering a new color – their excitement is so genuine and contagious! It’s incredibly fulfilling to be part of those early moments where they begin to grow socially, emotionally, and academically.”
