Carrie Frain started her nursing career at MD Anderson Cancer Center, and later worked as a clinical and research nurse at Baylor College of Medicine Department of Urology. After receiving her master’s degree, she worked as clinical instructor in the Cizik School of Nursing at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. When her second daughter was born, she stepped away from nursing to stay home with her children. During this time, she retained her status as a Registered Nurse and kept her skills sharp by providing first aid for her children’s summer camps, weekend campouts, and retreats. She officially returned to nursing in 2015 when she accepted the role of part-time school nurse at Holy Spirit. Mrs. Frain holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Mary’s College, and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. When she’s not caring for students, faculty, and staff, she enjoys volunteering for Christian youth programs, going on retreats, and participating in Bible studies. She is also a fan of international travel, playing golf, baking, playing competitive tennis, and spending time with her husband and three children.
