After working part-time with Holy Spirit’s two-year-olds in 2019, Alexis Aranda knew she had found her passion. It didn’t take long before she transitioned from a career in retail management and bookkeeping to a full-time teaching role with HSES. Currently pursuing her Child Development Associate certification at HCC after being a TEACH grant winner, Ms. Aranda loves creating a nurturing classroom environment where students can develop their own unique creativity and enjoy hands-on, play-based opportunities for exploration and discovery. Outside the classroom, she enjoys baking and cooking, exploring new eateries around Houston , and spending time with her family and two pups.
