Ruby originally joined HSES in 2014 and left in 2022 to finish school. She recently returned to HSES in November 2023. Ruby earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston. She says, "I love to see the joy when children discover and learn new things. They also have the funniest things to say and my day is always different!"

Ruby says she was inspired to become and educator because she wants to make a positive impact on her students. "As an early childhood teacher, I have a big role in shaping a child's mind towards learning and education. My goal is to inspire them to learn through play, singing songs, reading, and creating art. And it's rewarding when I see how much they've learned along the way," Ruby adds.
