Despite plans to major in interior design, Jessica Balderach says she discovered her true career path when she spent a week assisting in a kindergarten class at her mom’s school. She knew immediately that she needed to change her professional trajectory, and has never regretted that decision. Mrs. Balderach earned her bachelor’s in interdisciplinary studies from Western Governors University, and joined HSES’s Primary faculty in 2011. She has since taught both Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4. When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling with her husband, and fostering animals.
