HSES is currently seeking qualified, professional candidates for the following positions:
Middle School Math Teacher 2021-2022 School Year
The Middle School Math Teacher works with 6th, 7th and 8th grade students utilizing the Eureka Mathematics curriculum. Proficiency in Algebra and Geometry are required for differentiation. Middle School includes one to two sections for each grade with small class sizes. Typically, Middle School teachers are responsible for four academic periods per day.
The Mathematics Teacher will facilitate the mathematical growth of students in a student-centered, developmentally appropriate environment following and adapting adopted curriculum while fostering joyful learning and encouraging higher-level thinking. The emphasis is depth over breath. Students develop a comprehensive body of mathematical knowledge while focusing on thinking, strategizing and problem-solving to reveal the “why” behind numbers. Additionally, the Mathematics Teacher will use research-based best practices to implement a differentiated and varied approach and curriculum. As a collaborative team member, the Mathematics Teacher will maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and faculty members, while coaching the social-emotional needs and development of each student.

Human Resources Generalist and Office Administrator
The dual role will manage a variety of human resources and office administration responsibilities. With a staff of 85, tasks related to human resources include employee relations, managing benefits and leave, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, facilitation of recruitment and employment, and compliance with policy and legal requirements. Office administration tasks include providing assistance and support to the Head of School by handling various administrative and secretarial duties, as well as managing the front desk coordinator and assisting with front office duties as needed. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality on all matters.
