early childhood

The faculty and staff of Holy Spirit Episcopal School are committed to providing excellence in education for our students of all ages. The Early Childhood program, available for students three, four, and five years old, is staffed with degreed educators who specialize in young children.

The Early Childhood program offers a Christian environment in which your child may grow in self-esteem and knowledge. Each child is viewed as a unique individual that has a personal pattern of timing for growth and development.

The primary focus of the Early Childhood program is to expedite the development of the whole child by giving him or her the opportunity to acquire, apply, adapt, integrate and evaluate knowledge as they construct new or expanded concepts. Varied learning opportunities assist children to develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. Holy Spirit Episcopal School strives to help your child become an independent, self-reliant, life-long learner.

Early Childhood students participate in musical performances and play on an age-appropriate playground that acts as an extension of the classroom. Attending Chapel is part of their weekly schedule, with Christianity being taught as the basis for their choices.
