Holy Spirit is a member of the Greater Houston Athletic Conference (GHAC). The league, comprised of 16 Houston-area schools, offers interscholastic competition for boys and girls in the following sports.
Competition is available for middle school students in grades 6-8.
The "Saints" athletic program is competitive, yet inclusive - ninety percent of eligible students participate. Even though winning is a desirable part of any athletic program, the development of athletes' skills, character and leadership qualities are the major objectives.
Lower School Sports
Lower school students have the opportunity to compete in the sports of soccer, basketball and baseball/t-ball/softball. Holy Spirit is a member of the West Houston Christian Sports Association for soccer and baseball. Saints basketball teams compete in the Tallowood Basketball League.
Lower school teams, coached by volunteer parents, are formed with the objectives of having fun and developing game skills.
