The Spanish language is introduced and progressively taught in lower and middle school, thus allowing the students to learn through repeated exposure in an informal, relaxed environment the "natural way."

The program's objectives are to help students establish everyday communication in Spanish and assist each child in attaining an acceptable degree of proficiency in the language. Additionally, the Spanish program introduces children to the fascinating and diverse Spanish-speaking world of Costa Rica, fosters a positive attitude toward learning a new language and equips students with the knowledge of how to communicate with our Costa Rican friends.
