Thank you for your interest in making a donation to Holy Spirit. We appreciate all levels of support and contributions to the school.
FUND FOR EXCELLENCE
HSES's annual fund provides a tax-deductible opportunity for parents, grandparents, faculty and friends to support yearly enhancements to the school and its programs. The Fund for Excellence provides the extra resources that make our school exceptional, such as outstanding faculty, facilities maintenance, state-of-the-art classrooms and enhanced extracurricular programs. In an effort to make your gift more individualized, you now may select to support any or all of our seven yearly programs: academics, arts, athletics, financial aid, Learning Resource Center, plant maintenance, and technology. ENDOWMENTS
Endowments significantly help offset the inevitably higher tuition and plant management costs. Holy Spirit welcomes new endowments or contributions to existing ones. Funds may be in the form of cash donations, gifts of stocks or bonds, real estate or bequests in wills.
DESIGNATED GIFTS
Donors are welcome to give HSES a contribution designated for something specific at the school. Please have the gift approved by the Head of School before you make a designated gift.
NON-CASH GIFTS
Appreciated property is a welcome gift. Non-cash gifts include art, coin collections or jewelry to name just a few. Paid-up life insurance can be transferred to Holy Spirit, or the donor may purchase a whole life insurance policy and name HSES as owner and beneficiary. In all cases, Holy Spirit will sell the property donated and use the proceeds for the purpose designated by the donor.
BOOK FAIR
The Book Fair is a three-week event benefiting the Learning Resource Center. Book Fair profits and all proceeds from advanced donations are designated for use by the library.
OTHER
There are several other ways to help raise financial support for Holy Spirit. The following programs are designed to give a percentage of your purchase back to the school:
- Kroger Share Card - Use Holy Spirit's Share Card when you purchase groceries.
- Randalls Good Neighbor Program - Link your Remarkable Card with Holy Spirit (#1926) at the service desk.
- Target Take Charge of Education - Designate Holy Spirit as your school of choice on your Target Visa and Target Guest Card.
