Holy Spirit Episcopal School, as part of The Episcopal Community of the Holy Spirit, is committed to developing each child's strength of mind, body and spirit. By empowering children, Holy Spirit promotes excellence in scholarship, richness of soul, godly character, and physical well-being.
Holy Spirit has a highly developed academic program supported by a competent and caring faculty working with children six weeks of age through eighth grade.
What makes Holy Spirit Episcopal School truly special is every program we offer meets one or more of four criteria:
- Experiential Education - innovative learning by doing.
- Service Outreach - other centered, not self-centered.
- Creative Arts - self-expression through the visual and performing arts.
- Spiritual Growth - study of God’s Word and awareness of God’s creation.
As equal in importance to what we teach, is how we learn. Our school is founded on academic excellence within a traditional core curriculum. We know that children truly learn and grow by doing, by being conscious of others, by expressing themselves through creative activities and by coming to really know that the world about them is not man's, but God's creation.
